Round Table Redundancy was created for the 2024 Global Game Jam, following the theme ‘Make me laugh’.

You play as a knight of the Round Table who is being made redundant, but you have one last duty, to find a successor.

There’s a catch though: What if there is no suitable successor?

You can’t be let go then… So your aim is to poke as many holes as you can in your fellow knights pitches, all without raising too much suspicion of your master plan. Maybe laugh along to a joke at your expense…

My Responsibilities

Designed the layout of the level, reaction mechanic, how slideshows will be presented.
Created BP for slideshow, which is keyframed on a sequence to switch throughout the presentation.
Timings open and close on the sequencer for the player to react with a laugh, positive, negative, or compassionate response to keep suspicion levels low.
Wrote the script for, voice acted, and performed motion capture for the knight on stage.
Added various sounds to the project and torch particle for additional polish.
